This is our cargobike called "bakfiets" in the Netherlands. We bought it when we lived in Amsterdam and took it with us when we moved to the South of France. Here we don't use it as much as we would because of the numerous hills...

Hi Stephanie, very inspiring! We also have a cargo bike that we love dearly and we live in a hilly place in Australia, so we decided to get a little electric motor and now we use it ALL the time. We are officially car-free!!

We just started importing the original 'bakfiets' (or as we call it the 'Dutch cargo bike')in Ozzie (see our www.dutchcargobike.com.au) and are thinking of importing the electrical kit as well, but need some feedback from the people over here if it is worth it...could you tell us the pro's and con's??
